Description

ENEA is coordinator of Project Area 5 of the Instrument for Stability (ISF) programme, funded by the European Commission under the Expert Support Facility (ESF) initiative. This area is related to the feasibility study in non-radiological EU countries for the creation of Centres of Excellence and safety and security training networks on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) risks.

ENEA Activities:

  • Organization of and participation in seminars in countries of South East, Middle East and Mediterranean and Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Writing of reports for the European Commission on the observed situation, feasibility assessment and the proposals worked out by expert trainers
  • Set-up of the e-learning platform
  • Technical support
