ENEA is one of the partners in the Sustain Water Med project, co-funded by the 2007-2013 ENPI Cross-Border Cooperation in the Mediterranean Programme under the Regional Technical Assistance Programme Sustainable Water Integrated Management (SWIM), launched by the European Commission. The project promotes the dissemination of policies and sustainable water management policies in the Middle East and North Africa, areas characterized by the increasing water shortage, made even heavier by the pressure exerted by desertification along with climate change.
