Description

Funded by the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea, the project is aimed at encouraging the creation of a National Marine Environment Plan with the development of a national network of Marine Protected Areas.

ENEA Activities:

  • Start up and management of the Project
  • Satellite imagery interpretation for the digital mapping of the marine coastal habitat
  • Creation of a Marine Spatial Plan
  • Identification of a national network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs)
